Fête de la Musique – Maldives – 29th June 2012 (World Music Day)
For the fourth time, Alliance française is organizing the Fête de la Musique (World Music Day) in Male’. This year, the stage will be in the Sultan Park. This setting will give the original ambiance of Fête de la Musique : indeed in France, during the world music day, every musician is free to express their artistic talent in public places (streets, parks, square..) creating a festive atmosphere.
Alliance française is happy to introduce yet another artist : Abaji, a big-hearted musician with a quick wit and a passion for rare instruments.
Abaji will play at the Sultan Park on Friday 29th June, with 4 local bands, 4.00 onwards with prayer breaks.
