Around 4pm we started the poetry part of the day with 8 children of ARC (www.arc.org.mv) who recited an original “Picture Poem”.

Then the students, members and friends of Alliance recited poetry in French and Dhivehi around the topic “childhood”. Some of the children were very happy to share “Raavairu”, specific way to recite poetry in Dhivehi. The audience was delighted.
