The pictures should engage with the theme and can be posted online (Facebook and Instagram) through the hashtag #MyLifeAFM2022 or sent directly via e-mail at afmaldives2021@gmail.com
The submission deadline is Sunday March 13th.
The results will be announced on Friday the 18th of March.
Terms and conditions:
If published on social media:
- The photograph needs to be tagged “ #MylifeAFM2022”. Images submitted without tags may not be considered for prizes.
- The photograph needs to be published on Instagram or Facebook.
- The account needs to be public for the photography to be visible.

Any unique image from a smartphone is eligible to enter this category. The contest is open to all amateur and professional photographers residing in the Maldives. You must be responsible for having taken the image submitted. It is your responsibility to ensure that all necessary permissions are obtained from any person featured in a photograph. Copyright will remain with you as the photographer. However, by entering this competition, you agree to the Alliance Française and its partners using your images for possible exhibition, publication or promotional use.
Jury
The Jury will be composed of members of the Alliance Française committee. The judges will be vigilant to the following: respect of the theme, use of both basic and special technique, composition, originality, subject, overall effect.

Grand prize for Best Photography:
A nice dinner for two persons at Ratatouille restaurant, Hulhumale, and a free 2-month session of french classes
2nd prize:
A free 2-month session of french classes
3rd prize:
The printing on archival matt paper and framing of your photography in 16×24′.
